Tips for a Healthier Lifestyle

A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE- which helps you  to keep and improve your health. There are many common ways to live a healthy lifestyle, but Diet and Exercise are the most important part of it. If you don't eat healthy and  don't exercise, you are at risk of developing health problems.


By following below mentioned important tips you can live a healthier lifestyle.

These are the keys to lifelong good health :


1. Maintain a Healthy Weight- This is the first and foremost step to a healthy lifestyle because being UNDER WEIGHT and OVER WEIGHT can cause many type of health issues. But a healthy weight can reduce the risks of health problems.



2. Healthy Eating- Include fruits and veggies in your diet and cut fried food. Also add fresh fruit juices and smoothies. It is the most important part of a healthier lifestyle.



3. Get Enough Sleep- Continued lack of sleep can affect your immune system. it's important go get a good night's sleep. If you have problem in sleeping, try relaxation techniques such as:

a) Darken your room more and turn your clock away from you.
b) Light exercise can also help, like 10 minutes walking or cycling, can improve sleep quality but please avoid strenuous workouts close to bedtime.




4. Drink Enough Water- Water is needed to carry out body functions and remove waste form body. Do not get thirsty, Stay hydrated by drinking enough (7-8 glasses a day for an adult) water. Keep a reusable water bottle with you for convenience.



5. Exercise- Get moving at least 30 minutes daily i.e. walking, cycling etc. And if some types of exercise feel dreadful to you, do something else such as Dance in your living room. Yoga can also help you improve your flexibility, and strength. Deep breathing while yoga helps with better blood flow, releasing toxins and helps getting a better night's sleep.

Regular exercise helps increase your life span, lower your risk of diseases, help you develop higher bone density, and lose weight.



6. Quit Smoking/Alcohol- Smoking can severely increase your risk of lung cancer, kidney cancer and heart attack. Smoking "light" cigarettes/e-cigarettes do not decrease health risks.


Second hand /passive smoking- Breath-in air from smokers can cause many of the same diseases as direct smoking. There is no risk-free level of passive smoking, so stay away from smokers and avoid cigarette smoke.

Alcohol-Occasional drinking is fine but avoid to make it a habit.


7. Stress Management- Along with physical health, Look after your mental health too. People who have depression, can be at greater risk of heart disease. Follow below tips to beat stress:


a) Keep Good Company -You can do all the right things for your physical health- but if you have personal relationships with people who have unhealthy habits, this can spoil your efforts.

b) Meditation-It can also help you deal and manage the stress in your life.

c) Good Relationships-Having a good social life with family and friends can help. Making healthy changes with loved once can also motivate you.



8. Regular Check-ups-Remember to schedule regular check-ups with your doctor. Keeping your blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides in check is important for good health.


9. At Workplace-It's also important to sit less during your day and break up your sitting time. Movement is key to a healthy life. Follow the below tips:


a)Five-Minute Walk- Avoid continuously sitting, Walk to a colleague's desk to talk, instead of emailing them or  Even a five-minute walk can help clear your head and lower your stress levels. Just keep moving...

b) Take the Stairs- Use elevator only when you are getting late or when you are at any physical problem but if you are healthy enough, try to take the stairs most of the times.


Above mentioned tips can help you to take the first step but to maintain it on regular basis is in your hands only. If you want to live well and live longer, you must change your unhealthy routine.
